I’m sitting here at work, scanning the internet looking for things to build my confidence in our government and how they handle things. I swear to gawd, I think I must have died and entered the Twilight Zone.
The U.S. law breakers … er … makers, have finally reached some agreement on finance reform. Senator Chris Dodd said, “It’s a great moment. I’m proud to have been here.” and here’s the best part, “No one will know until this is actually in place how it works. But we believe we’ve done something that has been needed for a long time. It took a crisis to bring us to the point where we could actually get this job done.” (FLASH BACK: Nancy Pelosi … “We Need to Pass Health Care Bill to Find Out What’s In It”)

Warning to Muslim Women

Iranian police have issued something like 62,000 warnings and have confiscated 100 or more cars that had “badly veiled” women in them. The law there says a woman must be completely covered, head to toe.
The police were stopping cars with men and women riding together to question the relationship of the two. Islam forbids the social interaction between men and women that aren’t related. This video shows the harrassment women are being subject to in Iran:

Obama Is Seeking To Control The Internet
For the past couple of weeks I’ve been seeing various articles about the govenment eyeing the possibility of gaining control over the internet. That control would give Obama the authority to shut off internet access to the citizens of the United States basically any time he feels like it under the guise of “national security” protection.
According to this article, “the bill’s sponsors say it is intended to create a shield to defend the United States and its largest companies from the growing threat of cyberattacks…”

A Slap In The Face To 9/11 "Truthers"???
Michael Geer at the American Thinker posted an article. He's a non-Truther, which I guess that makes him a "Liar". Kinda like folks that question Obama's birth records are called "birthers" ... I guess that makes them "after-birthers"?
